Moscow Gostiny Dvor is one of the most beautiful architectural monuments of the capital - located 150 meters from the Kremlin. The history of Gostiny Dvor begins in the 14th century. At the end of the 18th century, by decree of Catherine the Great, in accordance with the project of the famous Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi, Gostiny Dvor was rebuilt into a single building of strict and elegant architecture, which became a new decoration of Moscow.
Since the end of 1995, under the leadership of Moscow Mayor Yu.M. Luzhkov, the Moscow Government has carried out the reconstruction of Gostiny Dvor, as a result of which it has turned into a modern business, cultural and shopping center with all the necessary services, equipped to international standards. Along with a thorough restoration of the external appearance of the building, a complete functional re-equipment of the internal premises was carried out with modern engineering equipment in accordance with the concept of “intelligent building”, the introduction of climatology and air conditioning systems, and the creation of the ability to connect electronic office equipment and control systems.
The uniqueness of Gostiny Dvor is due not only to the exclusivity of its location, but also to the originality of its artistic solutions. The complex reveals a peculiar connection of times. Surrounded by stucco columns and classical-style vaults, a granite-paved courtyard with an area of about 12,000 sq.m. appears. It is covered with the largest lightweight, support-free translucent roof in Europe (the covered city square is comparable in size and outline to Venice's St. Mark's Square in Italy). In accordance with the functional purpose of the courtyard space, the coating has systems for snow melting, climatology, collection and removal of condensate.
The uniqueness of Gostiny Dvor also lies in the fact that almost all creative ideas can be realized here. In the courtyard of the Atrium, cultural events are held, children's parties and festivals are held, city and national holidays, international exhibitions and salons, concerts, shows, fashion shows, etc. are organized. In particular, the Mayor's Annual New Year's Ball is held, concerts by Montserrat Caballe, Jose Carreras, Sissel, the exhibition "Orthodox Rus'", etc. were held.
Gostiny Dvor is one of the largest centers of business, trade and recreation with all the necessary services, equipped to international standards. The total area of the complex is about 82 thousand sq.m. On the territory of the complex there are shops, restaurants, banks, cafes, bars, offices, beauty salons, etc. While practically maintaining the same appearance of the building, the usable area was increased, including by adding attic floors, which housed offices and representative offices of companies. It is planned to build a hotel that will close the ring of hotels around the Kremlin. The launch of this hotel will complete the creation of a comprehensive infrastructure for providing services in Gostiny Dvor. In practice, people will be able to live in a hotel, work at an exhibition, negotiate, make purchases, i.e. provide the entire life cycle without leaving the building.
Moscow Gostiny Dvor is located 100 meters from the Kremlin and is rightly considered the most prestigious exhibition center in Russia. Technical capabilities of the Atrium: an area of about 13 thousand square meters covered with a transparent dome. m, an amphitheater with 450 seats, three-tier galleries, a powerful climatology system, the ability to connect electrical installations, communication systems and water - give reason to call the Moscow Gostiny Dvor one of the best exhibition centers in Europe.

Leading manufacturers and suppliers demonstrated the entire range of gifts, souvenirs, interior items, decor, tableware, business souvenirs, corporate gifts, games and toys, New Year and holiday products, Christmas trees and Christmas tree decorations, costume jewelry and accessories, jewelry, watches, goods for organizing and holding celebrations.
